The objective was not limited to the attainment of a more elevated seating position on a cost-effective, relaxed adult tricycle. In a highly price-sensitive environment, our engineers were most concerned with incorporating the sporty, precise, and typical driving dynamics of our Tadpole trikes, which feature two steered front wheels. In other words, this trike is an excellent choice for individuals who are operating on a limited budget.

The frame construction of HP Velotechnik’s trikes is highly labor-intensive due to two essential features: Initially, the driving characteristics are of paramount importance, as they are primarily determined by the ingenious geometry of the front wheel steering and significantly impact the driving experience. We will not alter that! Consequently, the Gekko 26 does not incorporate our second design refinement, which is the patented folding technology. In one respect, this even provides an advantage: the sturdy frame can accommodate a payload of up to 150 kg (331 lbs), which is more than the foldable models.
