The Topcon CA-800 is an ideal support for the fitting of contact lenses. A comprehensive contact lens database for all major manufacturers is included in the onboard simulation software, which is both upgradeable and customizable by the user. The contact lens position on the eye can be fully controlled by the onboard fluorescein acquisition system. The user can monitor the pupil position and diameter (from photopic to scotopic condition) in relation to the optical zone’s position in Ortho-K or refractive surgery treatments with the help of the onboard pupillometer.input:

The Topcon CA-800 is a placido-based topographer that measures up to 6,144 data points and evaluates instantaneous and axial curvature. It is equipped with 24 rings. Additionally, it is equipped with four infra-red LEDs and two white LEDs for dynamic and static pupillometry, as well as eight blue LEDs for fluorescein images and videos, which are necessary for a comprehensive contact lens analysis. The meibomian glands can be easily analyzed for any potential defects using the four infra-red LEDs.input:
