Within a single integrated solution, the MotionWare software offers analysis functions for sleep, circadian rhythm, and physical activity, as well as device and data management tools. The end points are determined by the software algorithms that interpret the accelerometer data from the MotionWatch or PRO-Diary. The MotionWise Actogram window is a scalable, flexible, and scrollable window that displays a single or double plotted motion graph over a period of multiple days. Providing a method, the MotionWise window is the primary tool for the selection of data for more detailed analysis.input:

A graph is displayed for each day that contains data, providing detailed information on activity, marked events, and light (if enabled). Detailed insight into the behavior of the subject over time is provided by the epoch-based activity counts represented by the black activity bars. The yellow ambient light data offer a valuable supplementary channel for determining the status of lights being on or off, as well as for light exposure in chronobiological studies. The MotionWatch 8's marker button enables the subject to indicate their bedtime and wake-up time, which are represented as blue lines in the graph.
