Clean Room Shower

A unique cleaning system is necessary for the transfer of items or the passage of personnel in cleanrooms classified as ISO6 or lower. The passage from the exterior of the clean room to the point of entry is cleaned by air showers, which also remove contaminant particles from fabric surfaces and clothing.input:

The clean room air shower decontaminates surfaces by circulating high-velocity filtered air at a rate of 25 m/sec. The collision displaces and lifts particles that are suspended in the moving air, which are subsequently transported to the filter sections for disposal.

Organizational framework

Air showers are self-contained and do not disrupt the clearance system. Self-supporting, double-walled, painted sheet metal or AISI 304 stainless steel panels with a seamless inner surface comprise the structure.

The vertical space requirements of the fully assembled unit during transport and operation are reduced by the ventilation provided by an original MUM centrifugal axial flow propeller that feeds directly into the final HEPA H13 filter in our clean room air shower design.input:
