Product summary

Characteristics:Atherectomy facilitates the recanalization of central lumen CTO.Utilizes high-frequency mechanical vibration as a frontline therapy.Optimizes therapeutic alternatives
Crosser™ CTO Recanalization CathetersCrosser™ CTO Recanalization Catheters employ high-frequency, mechanical vibration to cross chronic total occlusions (CTOs) intraluminally, enabling the subsequent placement of a stent or balloon angioplasty. Crosser™ Catheters are accessible through both over-the-wire and rapid exchange delivery platforms. Crosser™ CTO Catheters enable the intraluminal placement of conventional guidewires beyond peripheral artery chronic total occlusions through atherectomy. Crosser™ Catheters are CE-marked and commercially available in the United States.
The primary cause of CTO procedure failures is the inability to:
· Enter the proximal cap· Access side branches· Re-enter the distal true lumen.· Failure to cross lesions, which may result in procedure failure, may result in significant burdens, including prolonged procedures, increased radiation exposure, periprocedural complications, and repeat intervention.2,3· The success rate of CTO crossing was reported to be 5% to 66% in the clinical literature when using a primary wire-catheter.· This may lead to sub-intimal deflection and subsequent dissection, which may obstruct and isolate the new lumen from collateral circulation.
