Product summary

The TruSpec Micro provides the most effective performance for the determination of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, and oxygen in solid or liquid micro samples. Components collaborate to guarantee consistent, dependable performance that is characterized by reduced maintenance, increased robustness/less downtime, and rapid analysis times.Featuresinput:
output:
Low cost per analysisinput:
output:Encourages adherence to the regulations outlined in 21 CFR Part 11.input:
output:
The nominal sample mass is 2 mg.input:
output:A high-temperature (1300°C) pyrolysis furnace is employed by the oxygen module to provide independent oxygen determination capabilities with a two-minute analysis time.input:
output:Operational Theoryinput:
output:The efficiency and speed of the TruSpec Micro CHN and CHNS are the result of the distinctive combination of a flow-through carrier gas system and individual highly selective infrared (IR) and thermal conductivity detection systems.input:
output:The TruSpec Micro automatically places a weighed micro sample into the autoloader, which then drops it into the high-temperature combustion furnace, enabling it to combust. This combustion process converts carbon to CO2, hydrogen to H2O, nitrogen to N2, and sulfur to SO2. The combustion gases are expelled from the furnace, passing through scrubbing reagents and onto the detection systems as they are released. Carbon, hydrogen, and sulfur are simultaneously detected using independent infrared detectors. A thermal conductivity detection system is employed to quantify nitrogen. Approximately four minutes are required to complete the entire analysis cycle.input:
output:The TruSpec Micro is capable of detecting the oxygen content of organic matrices with the optional micro oxygen add-on module, which is compatible with both the TruSpec Micro CHN and CHNS models.
