Description

The Mecta-C family of Cervical Interbody Fusion Cages and Anterior Plates is a comprehensive system that is designed to fuse and mechanically support the cervical spine in the event of degenerative disease, trauma, tumors, and deformity. The Mecta-C Cage System is composed of intervertebral fusion devices made of PEEK and titanium-coated PEEK that are capable of providing optimal biocompatibility and effective load sharing. The Mecta-C Plate System is intended to provide biomechanical stability in situ and flexibility in terms of implant range and configurations.input:

RIGID

Fixed screws are a viable alternative for secure fixation, as they do not permit micromovements.input:

SEMI-RIGID

In accordance with Wolff’s Law, variable screws facilitate micromovements that optimize osteointegration.input:
output:HYBRIDMicromovements per selected segment are enabled by the combination of fixed and variable screws.input:
output:BRIEF SCREW OPTIONSIn primary and revision cases, self-drilling, self-tapping, and rescue screws are available to meet the surgeon’s requirements.input:
output:CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATIONThe radiolucency of PEEK, in conjunction with the radio opacity of the tantalum markers, enables the surgeon to confirm the precise implant position through a clear radiographic assessment.

The correct alignment of the implant is further supported by the titanium-coated cage (Ti-PEEK) which is visible on imaging due to the external titanium “halo.” input:
