Cemented Wrist Prosthesis

A total wrist arthroplasty system of the third generation, featuring an anatomic implant, is intended to offer patients the dart thrower motion for wrist movement in daily life.input:
output:The system is composed of components that replace the articulation of the distal radius and proximal row of carpal bones in the wrist joint, as well as the corresponding instrumentation. The components are designed to be implanted as a system, rather than as individual hemiarthroplasty components.

The radial component is constructed from Cobalt Chrome Molybdenum Alloy (CrCoMo) and features a concave articulating surface. It is secured in place by a stem that is inserted and cemented into the radial intramedullary canal.input:
output:The carpal implant is composed of a titanium carpal plate that is secured to the carpal bones using a cemented central peg, two titanium screws, and locking caps.
