Description

The BioProfile FLEX2 is a comprehensive and automated cell culture analyzer that eliminates chemistry sensor maintenance, increases analyzer speed, and reduces sample volume by integrating Nova’s innovative MicroSensor™ Card technology with optical measurement and freezing point osmometry. Gluc, Lac, Gln, Glu, NH4+, Na+, K+, Ca++, pH, PCO2, PO2, total cell density, viable cell density, viability, cell diameter, and osmolality comprise the complete 16-item cell culture test menu.

There is no maintenance required for any of the 11 chemistry and gas sensors, the sample volume for the full test menu is reduced by 75% to 275 microliters, and the testing time is reduced to just 4.5 minutes in comparison to the previous generation BioProfile FLEX. The most efficient and flexible workflow for cell culture monitoring is achieved through automated sampling from 96-well plates, syringes, or a 24-position external “load-and-go” sample tray.Fully Automated Sampling Optionsinput:

output:Automated online sampling is feasible with BioProfile FLEX2. Nova’s FLEX2 On-Line Autosampler (OLS) offers fully automated sampling from a wide range of culture systems, including large production bioreactors and single-use bench scale bioreactors. FLEX2 with OLS enables real-time data transmission for automated sampling, analysis, and feedback control of all measured parameters when connected to an OPC-compatible control system. The OLS has the capacity to connect up to 10 vessels, and the setup time for a full bench of 10 bioreactors can be completed in less than 20 minutes.
