The Codonics Virtua XR Medical Disc Publisher has the capacity to record up to 62 CDs or 31 DVDs per hour. Virtua is specifically engineered for high-volume imaging applications, including breast MR, PET/CT, MRA, and CTA, in which imaging systems transmit tens of thousands of images per hour, and it remains current with multi-modality environments. Customized discs are labeled, recorded, and prepared for patient delivery without disrupting workflow. The XR’s compact design includes a user-friendly touch screen interface, a robotic disc recorder and printer, and an advanced processor for receiving and managing studies. The facility’s address, logo, and patient demographics are all included in the brilliant, full-color disc labels that are generated by the built-in printer for marketing purposes.
