X-Lite® is a Low Temperature Thermoplastic material that is both lightweight and airy, engineered to satisfy your splinting, bracing, and casting requirements. The material is composed of a 100% cotton mesh that has been impregnated with a non-toxic thermoplastic resin. The most recent addition to the X-Lite® line is X-Lite® Plus. It is available in five colors and features a soft polyester fabric surface on one side.

Plus is nearly as robust as Classic and can be employed to fabricate any cast or splint of your preference. Made with X-Lite® premium and a polyester layer, it is available in a variety of widths. Occupational therapists frequently employ Plus as a material for splinting. It is available in dispensers, sheets, and rolls. A separator is not present in plus rolls, which allows for the easy and rapid formation of the roll directly on the patient.input:
