The transparent polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Wired Arterial Cannula is composed of a distal end, body, and tip. The tip is available in both straight and curved formats, and it may include a flange to facilitate fixation. In addition to the marking for precise positioning in the artery, the body has a flexible wall with stainless steel wire reinforcement that prevents folds during handling. A connector with a luer lock adapter may be present at the distal end, which is used for pressure measurement and sampling. A pyrogenic and sterile unit is included in each package.
