output:The GA-200 is an analyzer that combines a gas sampling system with sensors to measure and display the concentrations of oxygen and carbon dioxide in a sample as the percentage of a gas in the sample by volume. The percent volume fraction is another term for this method of expressing the concentration of a gas in a sample. The GA-200 is equipped with a fluorescent display for programming and observing measurements, a keypad for programming the unit’s operation and calibration, and analog outputs that enable it to be connected to data recording units such as the IX-214, in addition to the sampling and sensing systems.input:
output:Principle of operationThe GA-200 measures the concentrations of oxygen and carbon dioxide in a gas by pumping a sample from the input port on the front panel, through the sample cell, and out an exhaust port on the back panel. Gas samples are introduced into the unit via an external filter on the input port, which safeguards the sensors from contamination. Additionally, Nafion tubing is used on the filter to eliminate moisture from the samples, which could potentially impact the measurements and the calibration of the unit.input:

Laser diode absorption technology is employed to quantify the oxygen concentration of the gas in the sample cell. The oxygen sensor’s laser diode emits light with a wavelength of 760 nanometers, which is absorbed by oxygen. The light is directed onto the surface of a detector after passing through the gas that is pumped into the sample cell.
