NovoMatrixâ„¢ is an acellular dermal matrix that is derived from porcine tissue. In surgical applications, the matrix is an exceptional substitute for autologous connective tissue grafts (CTG) due to its resistance to tears and ease of handling. The patient's morbidity is reduced by the absence of a need for an intraoral surgical donor site.



The matrix is devoid of donor cells as a result of the manufacturing process. Concurrently, the source tissue's structure remains nearly unaltered, thereby facilitating the ingrowth of micro-vessels and cells.
