The air/water channel is flushed after the procedure using the DEFENDO™ Single Use Cleaning Adapter for OLYMPUS® endoscopes.This is implemented to avert the formation of biofilm. It is considered one of the most critical steps in the cleaning and disinfection of an endoscope.
