The Koren® suture anchor is distinguished by its distinctive design, which resembles an arrow point with two side fins that have inverted sections. This design is intended to facilitate insertion into the cortical zone.- facilitate the anchor’s rapid and dependable locking,- guarantee a secure hold on the bone.
The Koren® suture anchor is radio-transparent and is manufactured from PEEK-OPTIMA®. The anchor is available in two sizes: 2mm and 3mm. It includes a polyester suture thread that is non-resorbable.
The Koren® suture anchor is assembled on an ergonomic gripping device that facilitates insertion and locking in the bone. Each anchor can be installed without the necessity of a motor.
The Koren® suture anchor is recommended for the fixation of soft tissue to the bone, in conjunction with appropriate postoperative immobilization, particularly in the following scenarios:
ELBOW:- Reinsertion of the biceps tendon
– Reinsertion of the radial and cubital ligaments
