Product summary

The LDSM-A10 dosimeter (β and γ) is equipped with a cobalt source for electronic accelerator irradiation place radiation detection and ore-containing materials for radioactive detection. Gamma and X radiation have energy ranges of up to 40 KeV to 3.0 MeV, while beta radiation has an energy range of up to 0.5 to 3.0 MeV. The digital LCD backlight display specifies units of measurement, low battery indication, measurement errors, surface soft and hard beta-particles flux density, threshold level, and real-time, and the automatic failure detection function measures gamma and beta radiation dose rate from the background to extra levels. A magnifying tube is capable of rapidly detecting and localizing gamma and beta radiation sources within seconds. Integrated Geiger-Muller counter that is sensitive to beta and gamma radiation.

Characteristics

Source materials for ore and cobalt

One AAA battery capable of operating within a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C

Geiger-Muller counter with built-in gamma and beta sensitivities

A cumulative dose alarm threshold, light and vibration alarm methods, and programmable voice and dose rate alarms respond within seconds. At the same time, the cumulative dose measurement and dose rate functions.Automatic setting of measurement intervals and ranges, as well as an automatic failure detection function and the ability to save the dose value.
Battery voltage and low battery warningApplications

Dosimeters have been extensively employed in nuclear facilities for the purpose of environmental radiation detection, soil surface and agricultural radiation pollution detection, radioactive radiation (beta and gamma) detection, and radiation medical treatment.
