Autopsy Table

A novel perfusion table concept featuring a perforated working area that is divided into four sections

with finger holes. The table must be connected to a docking station that is permanently installed and includes the controllable exhaust air volume (connection to the in-house exhaust air system). The table’s top is shaped like a bathtub. The upper area of this tub is equipped with a central drain that includes a removable residual sieve. Otherwise, the tub lacks a recess for exhaust air or a similar feature. Two wide-jet rinsing valves are located in the rear area of the tub floor, where they are employed for the purpose of dilution and rapid removal. Rinsing nozzles are adjustable in terms of their function and the volume of water they use for rinsing. The tub features double slots on its long sides, which facilitate the efficient extraction of air through an external fan or central exhaust system. The tub’s base is coated with a noise-absorbing material. 2 x 230V splash-proof sockets are included in the docking column for the connection of saws and other equipment. The table has approximately 25 cm of legroom on each side. A good and easy maneuvering ability is ensured by four impression-free, smooth-running rollers (D=150mm) with fixation and for straight-line running. Important note: The “double slot” side suction and the construction of the slot-cover and the tub prevent the penetration of splashing water and foreign substances into the exhaust air system.
