The sample sequence is automatically generated by the system by reading the barcode from the primary sample collection tube, which is barcoded by the hospital LIS system. The system is not influenced by the order or position of the barcodes on the samples in the sample tray, as a result of the automated sample preparation that follows the rotational barcode reading.
