Product summary

For the purpose of accurate fatigue testing in rodents and forced exercise training, these small animal treadmills are employed. The control unit now includes a touchscreen user interface.input:

output:BIOSEB Treadmills are rolling belts that facilitate forced exercise training and precise fatigue testing in rodents. They are equipped with adjustable speed and slope.input:
output:The BIOSEB Treadmill apparatus is fundamentally composed of a control unit and a rolling belt with adjustable speed (up to 150 cm/s) and slope (from -25 to 25 degrees). In order to ensure optimal performance under conditions of intensive use and minimal maintenance operations, as well as ease of cleaning, the rolling belt is constructed from specially selected materials. The lanes (corridors of activity for the animal) are wide enough to allow the subject to correct its coordination errors, thereby enabling an accurate measurement of the fatigue without any deficiencies in motor coordination.input:
output:Principle of operation

The unit regulates the speed of the belt, displays measured data on its display, supplies current to the shocking grid, and facilitates communication with the PC for data storage through the RS232 output and SeDaCom software (not included). The latest SEDACOM 2.0 version offers a user-friendly and convenient method for exporting and visualizing data on a computer for further analysis. The software can also regulate the velocity of the belt. The following parameters are assessed during a trial: belt speed and slope, shock intensity, shock time, and distance traveled.
