The FM flowmeters are medical gas supply devices that are equipped with an integrated dosage unit and two to six antistatic and graduated tubes.
The flowmeter’s inlet connections for O2, Air, and N2O are located at the bottom of the body and are designed to be connected to hospital centralized gas plants or cylinders that are equipped with pressure regulators. The body is constructed from anodized aluminum.input:
output:The N2O supply is automatically blocked by a safety valve in the gas feeding unit when the O2 feeding pressure falls below approximately 0.4 bar. The patient can receive the mixtures of O2 and N2O through a dosage unit.
The N2O is proportioned by an integrated mixing device to ensure that a minimum of 30% of O2 is consistently present in the gas mixture. The gas mixture can be directly supplied to the patient through the gas feeding unit, or an anesthesia evaporator can be connected to the dosage unit’s outlet. The O2+ flush button can be employed to rapidly supply O2 directly to the outlet of the mixture on the gas feeding unit.
