Product summary

The CAP119 Motorized Ceiling Fan Filter Units draw air in through a top-mounted prefilter and exhaust it through a HEPA or ULPA filter into a cleanroom. They are frequently installed in a ceiling grid system; however, they can also be suspended from a support structure or mounted on a support frame.

FiltrationThe standard HEPA filter is capable of capturing 99.99% of particles that are 0.3 microns in size. Optional ULPA filters offer a 99.999% percent efficiency rate for particles as small as 0.12 microns.

Circulation

The factory establishes the air flow velocity in accordance with Federal Standard 209E, which is 90 ± 20 FPM. Blower/motor assemblies are designed to ensure that the airflow is sufficient, while also including a minimum 50% increase in the pressure drop of the HEPA filter. This guarantees that your custom fan filter unit will provide years of dependable service without the need to replace the HEPA filter.

Blower/motor assembly

Single-intake, backward-curved impellers that are statically and dynamically balanced are employed in CAP119 cleanroom fan filters. Each blower is constructed from a high-performance composite material that is both durable and lightweight. Speed controls are mounted on the side of CAP119 filter units and can be adjusted to account for any additional pressure drop that may be caused by contamination buildup on the HEPA filter surface or by loading.
