Description

An isolator for active pharmaceutical ingredients is a piece of equipment that is specifically designed to handle sterile products or toxic/harmful pharmaceutical powders.

It consists of two distinct environments: one is designated for the proper handling of products, while the other is used for the inlet/outlet of products. A vertical-unidirectional air flow ventilation device of ISO 5 class (complying with ISO 14644) is installed in each environment.

This device is ideal for precision weighing operations due to its precise internal aerodynamics, which eliminates the issue of air speed influence on precision balance pans..

Removable work desks are constructed from AISI 304 or AISI 316 pipes to facilitate and expedite cleaning procedures.

A collection tank for powders or for washing/sanitizing solutions is located beneath work desks.

The unit’s design ensures self-safe operation in both positive and negative pressure environments.

Moreover, the unit’s ability to clean external surfaces enables it to be used in ISO5-classified environments.
