Access Catheter

The Penumbra System® is a fully-integrated system that was specifically designed for mechanical thrombectomy. The FDA granted it 510(k) clearance in December 2007. It is designed for the revascularization of patients who have experienced acute ischemic stroke as a result of intracranial large vessel occlusions.
