The brightness of the screen in negatoscopes can be smoothly adjusted within the range of 10 to 100%.
For instance, certain types may be employed to view dense X-ray images, such as mammograms.
The body of the negatoscope is composed of sheet metal. LED lines serve as the illumination source.
