In a sterile environment, remove the white paper tape from the infusion line and open the packaging.input:

Close the white Robert clamp that is situated on the infusion line.input:
output:Prepare a luer lock syringe with diluent solution that is free of drugs. Ensure that air bubbles are eliminated.input:

Retain the blue port cap for future use.input:
output:Connect the filling port to the syringe that contains the diluent.input:
output:Securely grasp the syringe barrel with both hands and position the plunger on a flat, solid surface. Gradually apply pressure.input:
output:Disconnect the syringe from the filling port once it is empty.input:
output:Remove the white Robert clamp.input:
output:Ensure that the infusion line filter is held with the arrow's direction facing upward.input:
output:The infusion line will be traversed by the diluent solution.input:
